Ashutosh Fibre Strengths
Recycling & sustainable fibre solutions
The company has developed proprietary capabilities to recycle and re-engineer para-aramid fabrics into high-quality secondary fibres for applications such as brake pads, filtration media and protective textiles. Its “Fabric-to-Fibre” process supports a circular economy by reducing dependence on virgin fibres, lowering raw material costs and providing sustainable alternatives
Diversified yarn applications
The company manufactures polypropylene spun yarns for household and industrial applications, including filtration, geotextiles, insulation and protective textiles, with flexible spinning capabilities to meet varied customer requirements. Polypropylene yarns contributed 22.64% of revenue in FY25, supported by demand from filtration, infrastructure and technical textile applications
Quality control
The company maintains stringent quality control using advanced testing and monitoring equipment to ensure consistent yarn performance and compliance with customer specifications and applicable BIS standards. Its focus on quality has helped keep defect and rejection rates low at 0.40%, 0.03% and 0.13% of revenue in FY25, FY24 and FY23, respectively
Ashutosh Fibre Risks
Single-segment concentration risk
The company operates in a single segment focused on spinning technical textile yarns, including para-aramid, polypropylene and other specialty fibres, leaving it exposed to segment-specific risks. Declining demand, competition, raw material price volatility, supply disruptions, regulatory changes or substitute materials could adversely affect its revenues, margins and financial performance
B2B customer & demand risk
The company operates primarily on a B2B model, supplying technical yarns and fabrics to industrial and institutional customers across sectors such as filtration, construction, automotive and protective textiles. Reduced or delayed orders, customer concentration, industry slowdowns, substitution by alternative materials or pricing pressures could adversely affect its revenues, margins and financial performance
Workforce retention risk
The company’s success depends on retaining experienced management, technical personnel and skilled plant operators with expertise in specialised yarn manufacturing processes. Difficulty in attracting or retaining such employees could cause operational disruptions, loss of expertise, delays in customer orders and adversely affect its growth and financial performance
